Softness without the coating
Laundry that feels as good as it looks
Conventional softener makes fabric feel soft by coating it, and that coating is the reason towels stop absorbing. This one softens without the waterproof film, so a towel still dries you and activewear still smells like nothing.
A scent that stays on the sheets, not in the room
Luxe Laundry is fresh pressed linen, the hotel bed kind. Purely Perfect is nothing at all, which is what we would choose for baby clothes and reactive skin.
Towels that still dry you
Liquid softener makes fabric feel soft by coating it, and that coating is why towels stop absorbing after a few months. There is no waterproof film here, so a towel stays a towel.
Goes in the wash and disappears
Half a sheet for a normal load, or one sheet for a heavy load, into the drum with your detergent. It dissolves during the cycle, so there is nothing to fish out and nothing to throw out. It is not a dryer sheet.
Hot or cold, HE or not
Front loader, top loader, high efficiency or the machine that came with the apartment. No dispenser drawer, no measuring and no special cycle.
Kind to the things that hold a grudge
It is the coating in conventional softener that traps odor in synthetics. Without it, activewear comes out fresh, and silks and baby clothes are fine too.
A paper box instead of a plastic jug
Thirty sheets in a compostable box, slim enough to leave on a shelf and striped like something from a perfume counter. Nothing like the jug it replaces.
Free shipping on every order, with no minimum to hit. Thirty days to change your mind.
Build a routine
The whole laundry routine, in one go
Clean, soften, scent. Every one of these goes into the drum with the wash. Pick a scent and a quantity for each line, because detergent runs out faster than softener does, so a second box is the usual move.

How it works
It goes in the washer, with your detergent
This is an in-wash fabric softener, not a dryer sheet. No dispenser drawer, no measuring, no ball that gets lost in the drum.
Add your softener sheet
Half a sheet for a normal load, or one sheet for a heavy load. Add straight to the drum with your clothes and detergent at the start of the wash.
Run the wash as normal
Hot or cold, top loader or front loader, HE or traditional. The sheet dissolves during the cycle.
Nothing to take out
It dissolves completely, so there is no spent sheet to fish out of the drum and nothing to throw out. Move the load to the dryer as usual. The sheet has already done its job.
Can I use it with the 3-in-1 sheet? You do not need to, because the 3-in-1 already has softener built in. Use this with our regular detergent sheets.
One last thing
Soft fabrics, without the film that ruins towels
Fabric softener has a trade-off nobody mentions on the bottle: the thing that makes clothes feel soft is a coating, and coatings do not wash out.
Liquid softener coats fibers
That is how it makes things feel soft. It is also why towels stop absorbing water and activewear starts holding onto smells after a few months.
Dryer sheets leave residue too
On the fabric, and on the lint screen. If you have ever run water over a lint filter and watched it bead rather than pass through, that is the coating. This is not a dryer sheet.
Soft in the wash, not in the dryer
Add half a sheet for a normal load, or one sheet for a heavy load, to the drum with your detergent. It dissolves during the wash. Plant-based softening agents reduce static and stiffness without laying down a waterproof film. Towels stay towels.
One honest note: if you want maximum absorbency from brand-new towels, wash them a few times with no softener at all first. That is true of ours as much as anyone's.
The questions everyone asks
The washer. This is an in-wash fabric softener, not a dryer sheet. Add half a sheet for a normal load, or one sheet for a heavy load, to the drum with your clothes and detergent at the start of the wash, and it dissolves during the cycle. Nothing of ours goes in the dryer.
No. It dissolves completely in the water, so there is no spent sheet in the drum and nothing to throw out. Move your load straight to the dryer or the line.
Far less than a liquid softener will, because there is no waterproof coating. If you want maximum absorbency from brand-new towels, wash them a few times with no softener at all first, and that is true of any brand.
Yes, and better than most. It is the coating in conventional softeners that traps odor in synthetic fabrics, and there is no coating here.
You do not need to, because the 3-in-1 has softener built in. Use this alongside our regular detergent sheets.
Honestly, because we are still building the range. Our two scents are Luxe Laundry and fragrance-free Purely Perfect. Check the scent selector above for availability. More scents are coming.
